Why dive here
With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - PATRICE DIDIER (PROBABLY) offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Patrice Didier (probably) offers a deep, intriguing dive off the Cornish coast. Dropping to 58 meters, it’s a site for experienced divers comfortable with depth and colder water. This fishing vessel went down in 1970, and time has softened its edges, inviting a range of local marine life to make it home. Expect to see plump conger eels lurking in the structure and schools of pollack moving around the deck. It’s a quiet, atmospheric dive, often feeling like you have the wreck to yourself.
