PUNTA NITA (POSSIBLY) - Cornwall & Devon

The *Punta Nita* is a fantastic, if slightly mysterious, deep wreck dive off the Cornish coast. We love a good mystery, and this site certainly delivers. Lying at 44 metres, she’s well beyond recreational limits, making her a solid choice for technical divers looking for a proper challenge and something unique. Her identity is a bit debated, but whatever her name, the wreck itself is in remarkably good condition, sitting upright and largely intact. The stern, with its impressive prop, is always our favourite part to explore. You’ll find walls draped in jewel anemones, creating a dazzling display of reds, oranges, and purples even in the low light. Conger eels are practically residents here, often peering out from the deeper recesses of the holds. Visibility can be hit or miss, typical for the UK, but on a good day, the eerie glow filtering down to the seabed makes for a truly atmospheric dive. It's a proper adventure, a real dive into history, and definitely one to log if you have the training.
