QUEST - Cornwall & Devon
The Quest, a 15-meter fishing vessel, rests upright in 34 meters of water, a quiet memorial to a run-in with a submerged object back in 1991. What we appreciate about this wreck is its size; it’s compact enough to explore thoroughly on a single dive, yet offers plenty of nooks and crannies. You’ll find plumose anemones, often in cream and orange, clinging to the hull, and conger eels peeking out from darker sections. It’s a good choice for divers comfortable with deeper dives, offering a solid wreck dive without the intimidating scale of some larger sites in the area. We’d suggest keeping an eye on the thermocline here, as it can be quite pronounced.
