RAP - Cornwall & Devon
Diving the RAP off the Channel Islands is a dip into maritime history, even if it’s a relatively shallow one. This steamship, lost back in 1910 on the Pierres de Butes reef, sits at a mere 5 metres. We’ve found the wreck well broken up, but you can still pick out bits of the structure, enough to get a sense of its original form. Because it's so shallow, it's a great spot for newer wreck divers or for extending your bottom time. The real draw here, though, is how nature has reclaimed it, with plenty of crabs tucked into crevices and anemones swaying on the metalwork.
