RIPTIDE - Cornwall & Devon
Riptide is a curious little wreck, not a deep dive by any stretch, sitting at 25 metres. We found her to be a great spot for a relaxed afternoon with manageable current, if you pick your tides right. She's a fibreglass and wood angling boat, only 5.2 metres long, which means you can really get a sense of the whole structure on one dive. Crabs and lobsters have made themselves comfortable in the nooks and crannies, and we’ve often spotted dogfish nestled in the surrounding sand, eyeing us with mild interest. This site is a neat little introduction to wreck diving in the area, or just a pleasant way to spend an hour underwater.
