ROGER MADO (POSSIBLY) - Cornwall & Devon
The *Roger Mado* is a deep dive, sitting at 50 metres, so it’s one for the experienced tech divers among us. This trawler went down in 1933, and time has certainly done its work on the old girl. You’ll find her fairly broken up, but the structure still offers plenty of scope for exploration, with plates and beams creating interesting swim-throughs and overhangs. What’s left of the hull has become a solid home for plumose anemones, and we often spot conger eels tucked away in the darker corners. It's a proper British wreck dive, dark and moody, but with that sense of history that makes these sites so compelling.
