ROMBO - Cornwall & Devon
Rombo, a yacht that went down in 1980, sits at a very manageable 11 metres. It's an ideal spot for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed bimble rather than a deep technical dive. The wreck itself isn't huge, but it's well-colonised; we've seen everything from curious conger eels poking out of nooks to dense schools of pouting swarming over the hull. Visibility can be a typical Cornish mixed bag, but on a good day, exploring what’s left of the Rombo offers a really pleasant dive, perfect for honing those wreck penetration skills or simply enjoying the local marine life up close.
