ROWELLA - Cornwall & Devon
The Rowella, a wooden fishing vessel, sits upright at 28 meters. She went down in 2011 after taking on water, and you can still feel the story of that day as you descend. At just 11.5 meters long, she’s a compact dive, perfect for exploring every nook and cranny. We’ve found her wheelhouse intact on previous visits, often with a curious pollock peeking out. Expect to see plenty of local wrasse species, conger eels tucked into shadowed spaces, and often a decent sized crab making its way across the deck. She’s a great pick for those looking for a relatively small, atmospheric wreck dive in the UK.
