SAAD - Cornwall & Devon
Diving the SAAD, you’re looking at a proper deep wreck, resting at 56 metres after her collision back in '78. It's a motor vessel, and while the structure isn't entirely intact, the sections offer plenty to navigate, especially for those comfortable with deeper exploration. We’ve found the remaining hull plates and machinery draw in plenty of fish, with conger eels often poking out from sheltered spots and some impressive lobsters making their homes in the deeper crevices. It's a dive best suited for experienced wreck divers, offering a solid penetration if you’ve got the training and the right trimix.
