SARLA - Cornwall & Devon
The SARLA, a trawler that went down stern-first after an engine room fire in 1978, sits upright at 48 meters, making it a solid pick for experienced wreck divers comfortable with deeper profiles. She’s a decent size, and you can spend a good chunk of your bottom time exploring the deck and superstructure, which are now completely covered in plumose anemones. Look closely, and you’ll often spot conger eels tucked into any dark space and plenty of bib darting around the collapsing hull. It's a proper British wreck dive, dark and atmospheric, best tackled on a calm day with minimal swell for a comfortable descent and ascent.
