SCARWEATHER LTV - Cornwall & Devon
The Scarweather LTV is a classic dive for anyone keen on the UK's historical shipwrecks. This lightship, a vessel owned by Trinity House, sank in 1942 after a collision with a minesweeper, and now rests upright at 27 metres. We usually find it’s home to plenty of wrasse and pollock darting through the superstructure, and the intact shape of the ship is still very much there, giving it a real sense of its former life. Currents here are often light, making it a good, relaxed wreck dive for those comfortable at depth.
