SCHELDE - Cornwall & Devon
The *Schelde* sits in fairly shallow water, making it a good spot for a relaxed dive off the coast of Cornwall. We’re talking about a motor vessel that went down in 1936, so while it’s not ancient, it’s had plenty of time for the local marine life to move in. You'll find schools of bib darting through the remains, with plenty of crabs tucked into the nooks and crannies of the hull. It’s a pretty broken-up wreck, but you can still make out the general shape, and it’s a nice gentle introduction to wreck diving, especially when the visibility is on your side. Ideal for those looking for an easy potter around some history rather than a deep exploration.
