With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - SHOREHAM offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Shoreham wreck sits at 50 metres, a deep dive off Trevose Head that’s best suited for experienced divers comfortable with colder water and potential currents. This steamship went down in 1930 after a collision in thick fog, and today, her 61-meter hull is broken but still impressive. We often find conger eels lurking in the deeper sections, and the deck plates are carpeted in plumose anemones, creating a soft, colourful layer over the steel. It's a proper British wreck dive; atmospheric and moody, with plenty of nooks to explore if you’ve got your buoyancy dialled in.
