    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

The Silvia is a solid pick for wreck divers exploring the deeper end of the Cornish coast. We're talking about a sailing vessel, torpedoed back in 1917, now resting upright at 47 metres. It’s not a giant, about 30 metres long, but what’s left of the hull provides some good shelter for the resident conger eels, and we’ve seen plenty of decent-sized lobsters tucked into its plates. Visibility here can be a bit variable, so pick your day, but when it’s good, the Silvia offers a genuinely atmospheric dive, especially if you appreciate a bit of history with your decompression.
