SLEEPLESS NIGHTS - Cornwall & Devon
Sleepless Nights, off the Cornwall coast, is a small fishing vessel that met its end in 1987 after a gale dragged it from its Poole Harbour moorings. Now it sits upright at a shallow 7m, mostly intact, though time and tide have taken their toll on the superstructure. We’ve found conger eels tucked into the remaining holds and plenty of crabs scuttling across the decking. It’s a straightforward dive, often with decent visibility for the area, making it a good spot for newer wreck divers or anyone looking for a relaxed single tank potter. Keep an eye out for dogfish cruising the surrounding sandy seabed, especially on a calm day.
