The *Soleil Levant* is a small fishing vessel, just under 8 metres long, resting in shallow water near Plymouth. Because of its designation as a dangerous wreck, we can only admire it from a respectful distance, but even from above, you get a good sense of its structure. Resting upright, she’s a magnet for local critters – think crab and lobster tucked into crevices, plenty of blennies darting about, and small shoals of pollack hovering above the deck. It’s a gentle introduction to wreck diving, perfect for less experienced divers or anyone just wanting a relaxed dip with some interesting structure to observe.
