    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

The Solglimt, a steamship, rests at just 8 meters, making it a good, shallow wreck dive in the UK. We’ve found her to be quite broken up, but you can still pick out sections of hull and machinery. Visibility can be a bit of a lottery here, but on a good day, you'll spot plenty of wrasse darting between the metalwork and the occasional dogfish tucked away. It's a site that suits newer wreck divers or those looking for a more relaxed potter around history. Just keep an eye on the local tides; currents can pick up.

    Safety Notes

Wreck site - avoid penetration without wreck diving certification. Watch for sharp metal and entanglement hazards.
