ST LOUIE - Cornwall & Devon
The St Louie, a sloop sunk in 1884, now rests in a manageable 13 metres. It’s a good little rummage for divers keen on history without battling big depths or strong currents. While not a massive structure, the wreck has broken up gracefully, scattering timber and iron across the seabed, creating plenty of nooks. Look closely for those common Cornish crabs, dogfish tucked into crevices, and spider crabs marching over the timbers. It’s an easy dive, perfect for a relaxed afternoon potter.
