SUFFOLK COAST (POSSIBLY) - Cornwall & Devon
The Suffolk Coast is a dive for those who appreciate a bit of history, sitting at 29 metres and generally requiring some good conditions to really shine. It’s the remains of a steamship, sunk by a German submarine in 1916, and the wreckage is spread out enough to offer a decent rummage. We’ve found conger eels tucked into the deeper recesses and decent shoals of bib sheltering around the main structure. It's not a dive we'd recommend for beginners, but for experienced wreck enthusiasts, it offers a tangible connection to the past, especially when visibility is kind.
