Syracusa - Cornwall & Devon
The Syracusa, off the Cornwall coast, is one of those wrecks that really comes alive on a good day. It’s a cargo ship, sitting upright at 31 metres, and while it’s not an intact museum piece, the skeletal remains offer plenty of swim-throughs and places for critters to hide. We've seen conger eels poking out from almost every gap, and the lobsters here can be huge. With decent visibility, which can be hit-or-miss in this part of the world, it’s a solid dive for intermediate wreck enthusiasts who don't mind a bit of a current.
