With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - TEMPTRESS offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Temptress wreck lies at 49 meters, a good deep dive for those comfortable with decompression. She's mostly intact, with her boilers and engine room accessible for those with the right training and equipment. You'll find plenty of conger eels making their homes in the various nooks and crannies, alongside crabs and lobsters. It's a solid technical wreck, best dived on a slack tide for the clearest conditions.
