    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

The Terra, a steamship that went down off Groais Ledge in 1910, is a proper chunk of history at just 10 metres deep. She’s largely broken up now, but you can still pick out the bow and stern sections, creating some interesting swim-throughs for a keen eye. Dogfish often shelter in the deeper crevices, and we’ve seen some surprisingly colourful anemones clinging to the plates. It’s an accessible wreck dive, even for newer divers, though a decent torch helps to really appreciate the nooks and crannies. We’d suggest going at slack tide; the currents here can get a bit frisky.
