The Behar - Cornwall & Devon
The Behar, off the coast of Cornwall, is a classic British wreck dive. This cargo steamer, sunk in 1918, lies broken but still recognisable, with parts of her hull and machinery scattered across the seabed. We often find conger eels tucked into shadowy nooks, and the entire structure is coated in anemones and dead man's fingers, creating a vibrant, if somewhat muted, colour palette. It's a dive that rewards careful exploration, perfect for those who enjoy piecing together history amidst the crabs and lobsters that now call the wreck home.
