The Lucy Wreck - Cornwall & Devon
The Lucy Wreck, off the Cornish coast, is a proper dive into maritime history. She’s a reasonably intact trawler, sitting upright on the seabed, which always makes for a more interesting exploration than scattered debris. We’ve found her wheelhouse is usually the highlight, often draped in dead man’s fingers and home to some surprisingly large conger eels peeking out from various nooks. Visibility can be a bit hit or miss here, typical for the UK, but on a good day, the light filtering through the superstructure is quite something. It’s a solid pick for divers who appreciate a good wreck rummage and aren't chasing tropical colours.
