THELMA - Cornwall & Devon
The THELMA wreck, lying at 25 metres, offers a decent dive for those exploring Cornwall's coastal waters. This steamship, sunk by a mine in 1917, is now home to an array of curious residents. We’ve found conger eels tucked into shadowy nooks and often spotted pollack darting through the structure. Visibility can vary here, as it often does in the UK, but on a good day, the wreck’s bones are clear enough to explore its general outline. It’s a solid pick for divers keen on maritime history and the hardy creatures that thrive on these artificial reefs.
