THERA (POSSIBLY) - Cornwall & Devon
Dropping onto the Thera, you’re hitting a piece of history resting at 47 metres. This old steamship, sunk back in '46, is surprisingly intact for her age, offering a good rummage around the deck and superstructure. We usually find plenty of conger eels making homes in the deeper sections, and the metalwork attracts decent-sized bib and pollock. It’s a site that really suits experienced wreck divers who appreciate the story behind the metal and don't mind the chillier UK waters. Just keep an eye on your bottom time down there.
