TRACY'S MICHELLE - Cornwall & Devon

Tracy's Michelle sits upright and mostly intact on a flat seabed, which is always a bonus for photographers. She’s a fishing vessel, and while her story isn't fully confirmed, the presumption is she was scuttled. You can drop straight onto her bow, which points north. The wheelhouse is a highlight, quite open now, inviting you to peek inside and imagine the last voyage. We love how the hull is encrusted with plumose anemones, creating a fuzzy, vibrant blanket, especially when the current brings in plankton. Look for crabs tucked into every crevice and dogfish patrolling the sandy patches just off the wreck. The main deck is easy to navigate, with plenty of entry points into the fish hold, which is a fantastic spot for conger eels – give the torches a good sweep. For a shallower wreck, she packs a punch, offering a relaxed dive with enough to keep even seasoned wreckies interested without being overly challenging. It's a great site for divers who appreciate a wreck with character, where the marine life has really made itself at home.
