U 772 - Cornwall & Devon
Diving the U 772 is a profound experience, a silent monument lying at 60 metres. We've found her upright and largely intact, a testament to the power of the ocean and the suddenness of her sinking. You'll often see conger eels peering from open hatches and the occasional squat lobster clinging to the hull. It’s a dive for those comfortable with deeper wrecks and the challenges of the Channel, rewarding divers with a sombre connection to history, far from any crowds. The visibility can be fickle, but on a good day, the scale of the U-boat is genuinely impressive.
