    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Dropping onto the UC 69, you’re met with a surprisingly intact U-boat, considering its end. It lies at 60 metres, a true deep wreck for those with the training. The conning tower is a good focal point, often swarming with schools of fish, and you can still make out the torpedo tubes if you know where to look. It’s a somber but fascinating dive, feeling a little like a time capsule from 1917, and always has something new to reveal on subsequent visits. We’d suggest saving this one for calmer days; the deeper you go in the UK, the more you appreciate good surface conditions.
