Vivian Quarry offers a freshwater dive in a slate quarry, a common type of inland site in the UK. Depths here range to around 18 metres, making it suitable for training or a relaxed local dive. You’ll find typical quarry attractions: a few sunken objects like a boat and a small van, plus an old pump house, all gathering a fine layer of silt. It’s a good spot for skill practice and cold water kit testing.
