Durham University Sub Aqua Society
Northumberland & Northeast, United Kingdom
For those studying at Durham, or even just in the area looking for an active, social dive group, Durham University Sub Aqua Society is an excellent pick. We’ve always found university clubs to be a fantastic gateway into diving; they often have a strong community feel, offering plenty of local dives and social events, and this one is no different. They run PADI courses, which means getting certified with them is straightforward and globally recognised. If you’re keen to dive the cooler waters of the North Sea, or simply want to find your feet in a welcoming environment, this club is a brilliant place to start.
