Robin Hood Watersports - Northumberland & Northeast
The team at Robin Hood Watersports are a proper institution in the Northeast, and honestly, we love how they’ve kept that family feel over the years. They're a solid PADI 5 Star centre, which means you know you’re in good hands, whether you’re just starting out or looking to do your divemaster. We particularly appreciate their focus on getting new divers comfortable in what can be some pretty chilly, low-viz UK waters. What makes them special is their genuine passion for local diving. They’re not just teaching you skills; they’re teaching you to love diving here, in the kelp forests and around the historic wrecks that make Northumberland so unique. Our favourite trips with them have always been to St Abbs, just a bit further north, where the cold clear water often surprises you with wolf fish peeking out of crevices. They often run trips to the Farne Islands too, where the grey seals are famously playful. They’re brilliant for getting you qualified and then immediately connecting you with regular club dives, which is key for actually using your new skills. If you’re serious about diving the UK coast, especially the North Sea, this is your entry point.
