DOLO - Northumberland & Northeast

The DOLO offers a good rummage around a sunken barge, lying at a comfortable 14 metres. We’ve found her pretty colonised by sea life, with plenty of crabs scuttling amongst the metalwork and the odd curious seal slipping past. It’s an ideal spot for those newer to wreck diving, or anyone looking for a relaxed bimble rather than a deep exploration. While she’s officially classified as a dangerous wreck, we’ve always found her straightforward enough to navigate, just keep an eye on your trim around the broken sections.
