ENTERPRISE - Northumberland & Northeast

The Enterprise isn’t a grand, deep wreck, but for those who appreciate shallow history, it’s a neat little dive. This 15-meter fishing vessel caught fire and sank right at its moorings back in '83, so it’s sitting upright and mostly intact in just a meter of water. You can practically snorkel it on a calm day. We’ve found plenty of crabs tucked into crevices and a surprising number of juvenile fish darting amongst the remaining structure. It’s a great spot for newer divers getting comfortable around wrecks, or for photographers looking for an easy-access subject. Just be mindful of local boat traffic; it’s still close to shore.
