FAIRY - Northumberland & Northeast

The *Fairy* wreck, sitting in a shallow 2m of water, is more of a historical marker than a deep exploration, but don't let that put you off. It’s an ideal spot for a leisurely shore dive, especially if you’re looking for a relaxed outing or a chance to test new gear in easy conditions. What’s left of the old sailing vessel is heavily broken up, but you can still make out the scattered timbers and plates, now home to a surprising number of crabs and small bottom-dwellers. We've seen some decent flatfish here, too, blending perfectly with the sand and debris. It's a great choice for less experienced divers or anyone keen on a quick, interesting dip without the fuss of boat travel.
