With 118+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and orcas - SUPERB offers some of Northumberland & Northeast's richest wreck diving.
The SUPERB wreck, sitting at a shallow 11 meters, is classified as dangerous. We'd suggest this site for experienced divers comfortable with challenging conditions. You'll find a scattered wreck, heavily salvaged, with the remaining structure now home to various crabs and small fish. Visibility can be hit or miss, but on a good day, it offers a glimpse into the region's maritime history.
