Wreck of Winsome - Northumberland & Northeast

The Winsome isn’t just some scattered bits of metal. She’s a proper wreck, still holding her shape remarkably well despite the North Sea’s best efforts. We love poking around her bow, feeling the shift in temperature as you descend into the shadowed holds where big cod often lurk. You’ll find the deck plating mostly gone, but her ribs stand proud, creating these incredible swim-throughs for the more adventurous. Look closely in the gloom; we often spot huge velvet swimming crabs scuttling over the decaying timbers, and the anemones here, particularly the jewel anemones, are seriously vivid against the dark steel. This is a dive for those who appreciate the history beneath the waves and don't mind a bit of a chill for a rewarding exploration.
