The XL wreck in Northumberland offers a shallow dive, maxing out at 12 metres. This ketch vessel is classified as a dangerous wreck, so we’d advise proper penetration training if you plan to explore inside. It’s a good spot for newer wreck divers looking to practise navigation and buoyancy control, with various cold water species making their home in the wreckage.
