Baa of Oxafirth - Scapa Flow, Orkney

Cabezos de Maravillas, just off the Florida Keys, gives you a decent shallow reef dive. We’ve found it’s a good spot for spotting some of the smaller, shyer residents – darters, gobies, and even the occasional cowfish poking around the coral. Look closely and you might catch a spotted goatfish or a puffer tucked into a crevice. It’s certainly not the most dramatic reef in the Keys, but for a relaxed dive, especially if you’re keen on macro life or just getting comfortable with open water, it holds its own. The barracuda often hang out higher up, curious but keeping their distance.
