ROSE OF SHARON - Scapa Flow, Orkney
Dropping onto the *Rose of Sharon* at 54m in Scapa Flow, you’re met with a fishing vessel that feels more like a ghost ship. She sits upright, pretty intact, which is always a bonus. We found her wheelhouse still surprisingly complete, a good swim-through if you’re comfortable with a bit of overhead. You’ll definitely see the resident wrasse and squat lobsters making themselves at home amongst the machinery. It's a dive that rewards careful exploration, less about vast spaces and more about the details of a working boat lost to the sea. This one's for experienced wreck divers who appreciate the history and the often-overlooked beauty of a former trawler.
