S32 - Scapa Flow, Orkney
The S32 sits upright in just 14 metres of water, a fantastic entry point for anyone wanting to experience Scapa Flow's wrecks without the deeper depths. She's a destroyer, scuttled back in 1919, and while the top structures are gone, her main hull is remarkably intact. We've spent time poking around the torpedo tubes and imagining the deck guns that once stood watch. Current can be a factor here, so a slack water dive is always our preference, letting you explore without fighting the flow. Expect to see plenty of wrasse darting through the exposed ribs, and the occasional inquisitive seal often pops by to say hello. It's a proper piece of history, easily accessible.
