SILVER REWARD - Scapa Flow, Orkney
The *Silver Reward*, a 23-meter fishing vessel, sits upright off the northwest coast of Priest Island. It’s a good little dive if you're keen on exploring a more modern wreck, a nice contrast to some of the bigger historic behemoths in Scapa. You can poke around the wheelhouse and engine room, and it’s a pretty easy penetration for those with the right training. Schools of juvenile pollock often mill about the superstructure, and we’ve seen some decent-sized crabs tucked away in the holds. It's a comfortable dive for anyone with some experience in colder waters, often less current than the deeper sites.
