Dropping onto the SMS Konig, you’re met with a scale that feels immense. This isn't just a wreck; it's a capsized battleship, resting on its port side, and what a sight it is. We've spent hours finning along her hull, exploring the massive gun turrets – they’re genuinely colossal. The sheer size gives a real sense of the history, and despite the depth and the often chilly water, the Konig always delivers. Look for the resident conger eels making their homes in the darker recesses and the curious ballan wrasse darting around the superstructure. It's a dive that requires a bit of experience and comfort with deeper, colder conditions, but the rewards are well worth it.
