Sneuk - Scapa Flow, Orkney

We’ve always enjoyed a dive at Cabezos Las Mulatas when we’re in the Keys and looking for something a little less trafficked. It’s got a solid spread of reef-building corals, particularly some impressive stands of mustard hill and great starlet coral. Look closely among the ridged cactus coral for juvenile angelfish and butterbun wrasse. The barracuda here are usually pretty chill, just hanging out watching the blue parrotfish graze. It’s a good spot for a relaxed drift, often with gentle currents, making it suitable for newer divers or those who just want to take it easy and observe.
