SUE LYNN - Scapa Flow, Orkney
The Sue Lynn isn't one of Scapa's colossal German battleships, but this small fishing vessel offers a genuinely engaging dive. Sitting upright at 30 metres, she's remarkably intact for her size, roughly 12 metres long. You can peek into her wheelhouse, which is still reasonably complete, and see plenty of resident pollack darting between the frames. We often find wrasse here too, nosing around the growth that’s started to blanket her decks. It’s a great second dive after a deeper wreck, or if you prefer shallower, more intimate explorations where marine life is the main draw. While she might have a dubious past, she's a charming little wreck now.
