THREE BELLS - Scapa Flow, Orkney
The Three Bells, a fishing vessel that grounded in 1992, sits comfortably in the shallows of Scapa Flow. At just 5 meters, it’s a brilliant introduction to wreck diving, particularly if you’re keen to get up close without deep deco obligations. You’ll find the hull largely intact, resting on its side, providing easy swim-throughs into the wheelhouse and accommodation. Schools of juvenile coalfish often swarm the decks, and we’ve spotted plenty of blennies tucked into crevices. It’s a gentle dive, good for photographers, and a chance to explore a wreck in conditions you might not expect from a typical Scapa Flow dive.
