Water ranges 8-14°C, warmest July, August, September.
Scapa Flow’s a big place, and sometimes the best dives aren’t the ones with famous names. Take this unnamed wreck, Canmore 196008. It might not be a German High Seas Fleet scuttler, but it’s still a proper piece of history resting on the seabed. We found the stern section fairly intact, with the bow more broken up, scattered across the sand. Look closely for the resident wrasse and pollock darting through the rusted plates. It's a great dive for anyone who appreciates the quieter, more contemplative side of wreck diving, away from the crowds.

Wreck site - avoid penetration without wreck diving certification. Watch for sharp metal and entanglement hazards.
