SOOTICA - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Sootica, a 10.1m yacht that met its end in 1985 after a fire, now rests upright in 18m of water. It's a small wreck, but the intact nature of the hull makes it quite photogenic. We've seen conger eels in the deeper sections of the cabin and plenty of squat lobsters tucked into any crevice they can find. Due to its size and relatively shallow depth, it’s a good spot for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed single dive. Just keep an eye on the local currents; they can pick up surprisingly quickly here.
