Robert Gaskin (Wrack) - Québec

Diving the Robert Gaskin is a step back in time, submerged in the St. Lawrence. The wreck itself, a wooden schooner, is largely broken up but offers plenty of structure to explore. We’ve found the bow and stern sections are the most distinct, with ribs and planks creating shadowed nooks. This is where you’ll usually spot pike lurking, or schools of alewife drifting through the timbers. It’s a site for divers who appreciate history and the slow reclamation of man-made objects by nature, rather than intact ship exploration.
