    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Cenote Azul, on the mainland side, offers a different kind of dive compared to Cozumel's reefs. It's an open-air cenote, perfect for those new to freshwater diving or looking for a relaxed experience. You'll find yourself gliding through clear, cool water, with shafts of sunlight illuminating the limestone formations and the occasional freshwater fish. It's a peaceful spot, a nice break from ocean currents.

    Safety Notes

Overhead environment - never enter without proper cave/cavern training, redundant equipment, and a guideline.

Strong currents typical this month (avg 79 cm/s). Good buoyancy control essential.
